Lash Lifting FAQs

Whoever already tried with lash lifting definitely knows what I'm talking about, this revolutionized old, inadequate perming techniques brings a lot of conveniences to our life. No need to put on mascara every morning and can sleep more or doing literally anything else you want. Who would say no to it?

Here today, we collect all sorts of questions and DMs we’ve been received the last few months about our lash lift kit, hope it can help you to solve the puzzles and promote the experience and performance while using our products.

1. How many lifts will our kit do?

10 times in total for one kit. However, we do offer included items from our kit separately on sale at our store.

2. Does tint included or can I add one during the treatment? Should I tint after lifting?

Tint is not offered in it but yes, feel free to add one on your preference. Eyelash tint could be applied during the treatment to enhance the look of your lashes.

3. Can I wear mascara or makeup after finish with it?

Yes, technically you can. But it is advised that you leave your lashes untouched for at least 24 hours after your treatment. You may find that there is no need for mascara anyway, but if you wish to make your lashes even fuller, a non-waterproof mascara is advised as the removal of waterproof mascaras can be harsh on the lashes and weaken the lift.

4. How do you clean off the lashes after application?

The last step for lash lifting is to rinse lashes to make sure all the lashes are nice and clean without any residue, glue, tint remain on the eye. For cleaning, use the normal cotton pads and wet them with water, wipe off and clean the eyelashes. Then comb their lashes and dry each eye for 30 seconds by using an air blower. Not only the curl will stay longer but the clients get to see what their lashes look like when they are dry, lifted and tinted.

5. How long does a lash lift take?

A lash lift can take anything from 45 minutes to an hour from beginning to end. Maybe a little longer if you decide to have your eyelashes tinted which will enhance the effect of your lash lift.

6. Will I have a reaction to the lotion?

Very few people have a reaction to the lotion but that doesn’t mean you won’t be one of them. What one person reacts to, another is fine with. This is why you can opt to have a patch test 24 hours beforehand. A patch test is quick and simple. It consists of us placing 2 drops of lotions behind the ear for 15 minutes. Wiping it off and waiting to see if any subsequent irritation occurs over the next 24 hours such as redness, itching, or inflammation for example.

7. Will the Lash Lift damage my natural lashes?

No. Select a carefully trained and skilled professional to ensure proper lash lift procedures are followed.

8. How do I know what size the customer needs on the lift pad?

It comes in different sizes and chooses the right size is important for the outcome of the lash lift, lashes should reach at least halfway up to the rod or all the way up to the rod according to how high up of a curl you'd like to achieve or your client's preference.

9. How long will a Lash Lift last?

A Lash Lift can last 6-8 weeks but can vary from person to person. There is no need for any maintenance appointments in between but you will need to have the process repeated every 6-8 weeks to lift the new hair growth. There are some situations that may cause the lift to weaken prematurely such as swimming, use off harsh products, or heat. If you find that your lift does not last the full 2 months, you can repeat the treatment after a minimum of 4 weeks of having the initial treatment, but not before.

10. How often can I have a lash lift?

It lasts 6-8 weeks and your tint is going to last for about 3-4 weeks. The lashes should drop evenly and will not look out of place. You can repeat the treatment after a minimum of one month if you feel you need to, or you can wait until they are back to their natural state.
